Description
Featured is the leaf of the bigleaf maple (Acer macrophyllum). Also known as the Oregon maple, the bigleaf maple is native to western North America and has the largest leaves of any maple. In my walks through the woods here in Oregon, I have noticed they grow along streams, so I thought it would be fitting to pair it with a dragonfly.
